The Commissioner’s drive for protecting the State from public threats, providing solid institutional foundations, and her enthusiasm for this project were very encouraging and will spur us as we work on this project.

Supported by Resolve to Save Lives and under the auspices of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, HELC has had the privilege of working with several States on assessing their public health/health security legal landscape, supported them with subnational JEEs, and provided them with contextualised drafts of health security bills developed with multiple stakeholders.

HELC looks forward to supporting Ogun State, working with key stakeholders on the health security legal framework.
