Health Ethics and Law Consulting (HELC) is pleased to have supported Salient Advisory and the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria in the review and development of Nigeria’s draft Online Pharmacy Regulations. The draft Regulations aim to facilate the distribution of essential medicines online using digital technologies.
It is expected that the Regulations when finalised will provide an enabling environment for online pharmacies as part of a technology- supported drive to improve universal health coverage by providing access to, and delivery of essential pharmaceutical products, and enhance data protection, safety and quality assurance.
